Outline of Idea: The thought that started it all was that these kids must have gotten a lot of unsatisfactory answers from their immediate grown ups before deciding to take the streets on strikes. We had imagined they asked their parents, maybe their teachers then and now they were leaving their schools every Friday to ask their governments for answers. But where should they go after, if they still got no answers? Who is more powerful than governments? We thought something is above them all, and that is the power of nature, or in this case Mother Nature.
Impact: In our film a frustrated child not knowing how to stop climate change decided to ask for help to Mother Nature. She, being all powerful, can fight back agains the main culprits of Climate change, fossil fuel companies.
Additional Information: We used real climate change consequences to be the ironic weapons that Mother Nature uses to defeat the fossil fuel industry. The iceberg destroying the oil rig comes from the gigantic cracks currently opening on the poles and the hole that swallows the coal plant is a reference to the real sink holes appearing on the melting permafrost of Canada and Siberia. On this epic fight for survival things get out of control, and even though it isn't Mother Nature's intention, our young generations are put at risk from a hot, almost unstoppable threat.
The ending is not up to Mother Nature, but up to us. #StopFossilFuels.
